NATO shocked by Putin: You cannot stop our nuclear weapons - Burevestnik and Poseidon are uninterceptable
Putin presented the country's latest military successes, including the Burevestnik missile and the nuclear-powered submarine Poseidon, warning of unprecedented destructive capabilities.
Messages to all directions and with multiple recipients in the US and the West were sent by Russian President Vladimir Putin during his visit to the P.V. Mandryka military hospital in Moscow, where he met with servicemen participating in the Special Military Operation and undergoing treatment.
During his visit, Putin thanked the soldiers for the bullet-marked icons they offered him as a birthday gift, saying: "These holy relics saved lives, bearing marks of bullets and protecting health and life," and then proceeded to an unprecedented demonstration of power, indirectly but clearly responding to Donald Trump's argument that the US is 25 years ahead regarding nuclear submarines.

The Russian arsenal is invincible

During his visit, Putin announced significant military successes for Russia.
The Burevestnik missile was recently tested and possesses unlimited range, with an extremely fast nuclear reactor that can be started in minutes and seconds. The Russian President emphasized: "This small nuclear propulsion system is a thousand times smaller than a submarine reactor, but it can be activated almost instantly, unlike conventional reactors."

"We can be proud of the achievement of our scientists, specialists, engineers, and workers who built it. The advantage lies in the fact that this small nuclear propulsion unit, while having power comparable to the nuclear reactor of an atomic submarine, is a thousand times smaller than the nuclear reactor of a submarine, a thousand times," Putin underlined.

Poseidon is unique in the world

Next, Putin presented the nuclear-powered underwater drone Poseidon, noting that it surpasses the advanced intercontinental missile Sarmat in power. "Poseidon is unique in speed and depth, making it impossible to intercept," the Russian President stated. He explained that the successful test included not only the launch from a submarine with the booster but also the ignition of the nuclear reactor, powering the vehicle for a specific period.
"Regarding the speed and depth of movement of this unmanned device, there is nothing analogous in the world, and none is expected to exist soon. And there are no ways to intercept it," Putin pointed out.

Sarmat is coming soon too

The President mentioned that the advanced Sarmat will also soon be operational, emphasizing: "There is no other missile like Sarmat in the world, and it will be put into service soon," Putin said, characterizing the actions of the Russian armed forces to ensure Russia's security as the most important task.

Ukraine: Everything is going well

Regarding the situation in Ukraine, Putin stressed that developments in the zone of the special military operation are favorable for Russia: "Your efforts are not in vain. The overall situation is evolving in our favor."
The President pointed out the need for caution regarding potential Ukrainian provocations if journalists enter encircled zones: "Only one thing worries us – that there are no provocations from the Ukrainian side. The main thing is to avoid provocations from the Ukrainian side, so that no drone flies, no journalist gets hurt, and then they try to blame us. We don't need that. On the contrary, we are ready to do everything as I am saying now. The only question is whether the Ukrainian side is ready for this," the president stressed.

Ready to halt fighting for a few hours in Pokrovsk, Kupyansk

He added that Russia is ready to halt hostilities for a few hours in Kupyansk and Pokrovsk so that a group of journalists can enter the occupied areas, see what is happening, talk to Ukrainian soldiers, and withdraw. "We are ready to guide them to specific points, so that the Ukrainian soldiers receive them," Putin underlined.
Finally, Putin referred to the need for Kyiv to decide the fate of the encircled Ukrainians, stressing that the Ukrainian political leadership will have the opportunity to decide, as happened in Azovstal.

CIA warning: Putin’s stance is tougher than ever

The American intelligence agency estimates that Putin is adopting a "tougher stance than ever" in the military conflict in Ukraine. According to the assessment of American officials, Russia is aiming for victory through military actions and is less ready to negotiate. On the other hand, the White House did not comment on these assessments, while Donald Trump remains convinced that diplomacy can bring peace and that it will be aided by sanctions and other "alternative" strategies, which, according to the Americans, have not yet been revealed.

Determined

Russian President Vladimir Putin is determined to continue military operations in Ukraine and win the battle on the ground, the US intelligence agency estimates, as reported by NBC News, citing high-ranking American officials.
"The analysis transmitted to members of Congress this month shows that intelligence agencies see no sign that Russia is ready to make any concession regarding Ukraine, while President Trump is trying to mediate for peace talks," the statement said.

Similar assessment in 2022

According to NBC, US intelligence agencies had a similar assessment of Putin's intentions in February 2022. However, today the Russian President is reportedly taking a tougher stance and wants to "justify the human and economic losses." The White House did not comment on the intelligence assessment, stressing that the US remains committed to the fastest possible peaceful resolution of the conflict.

Trump believes in diplomatic resolution

US President Donald Trump, in an interview in South Korea, reiterated his readiness to resolve the conflict in Ukraine through diplomacy. "I was very lucky to solve many problems in the world. We managed to resolve almost all conflicts, except for one. I'm talking about Russia and Ukraine. But we will manage it all," Trump said.
According to Trump, he hoped to find a solution because of his relations with Putin, but in practice "things did not turn out that way." Nevertheless, he remains optimistic that the conflict can be resolved. He noted that peace in the Middle East seemed impossible, but he managed to achieve it, and wondered why he has not managed to resolve the Ukrainian crisis.

Sanctions as a tool of pressure

In the US, there is hope that the new sanctions against Russian companies "Rosneft" and "Lukoil" will persuade President Putin to sit at the negotiating table. US Permanent Representative to NATO, Matthew Whitaker, told Bloomberg TV that Washington aims to ensure their implementation.
"Perhaps this will be the point that will allow President Putin to sit at the negotiating table and end the war, or at least agree to a ceasefire, so that we can discuss the final resolution," Whitaker said.

Alternative pressures against Russia

"Sanctions are only one of the 'cards' the president is playing. Today in Brussels, I met with CIA Director John Ratcliff, and we discussed other alternatives available to the president. Trump intends to use them when he deems it appropriate," Whitaker stated.
