Elvalhalcor shows the highest gap at 49% - Listed companies mitigating losses through cash distributions

With bank and refinery stocks trading near 52-week highs, the overall picture across the remaining companies of the FTSE 25 indicates that a small group of firms remains up to 57.3% away from their 52-week peak levels, while for other listed companies losses are being mitigated by cash distributions. In these calculations, one must account for share capital increases, cash payouts, as well as the granting of free shares to executive management.

As detailed below, Elvalhalcor stock displays the widest variance of 49% from its year-high (€5.85); however, last summer the company completed a €250 million share capital increase at an issue price of €4.20.
Viohalco shares at €16.60 currently trade 31.8% below their 52-week high (€22.25), once the €0.27 dividend is factored in. At the beginning of this year, however, the firm sold a 3% stake in Cenergy, collecting revenues of €150-152 million, for which no decision has yet been reached regarding allocation.
Aegean Airlines stock at €11.60 sits 22.8% below its 52-week peak (€15.36) when adding back the €0.90 dividend distributed from 2025 profits. GEK TERNA trades 5.76% lower than its high of €48.32, having distributed a dividend of €0.40 for FY2025. The company, however, executed a share capital increase totaling €500 million through the issuance of 15.5 million new shares priced at €42.50 each.
Furthermore, GEK TERNA granted 1.1 million treasury shares free of charge to 42 executives, subject to a two-year holding period. Aktor Group also completed a capital increase of €650 million (57.7 million new shares at an issue price of €11.25) alongside a corporate bond issue worth €140 million. Aktor's stock currently sits 12.2% below its capital increase issue price and 49.7% off its 52-week high of €15.
Titan Cement stock recorded a 52-week high of €59 and distributed €1.10 per share from 2025 earnings, leaving it currently 11.74% lower than its peak. Coca-Cola HBC, which holds the largest market capitalization on the Athens Exchange at €19.6 billion, distributed €1.20 per share, with its stock currently trading 12.4% below its year-high of €60.50.
As noted earlier, Elvalhalcor shares show the widest distance of 49% from their 52-week high (€5.85), having distributed €0.117 per share from 2025 profits. Elvalhalcor completed a capital increase of €250 million by issuing 59.5 million new shares at a placement price of €4.20.

OTE moves above its 52-week high including the dividend

JUMBO stock reached a year-high of €32.26. The company has already distributed €0.70 and, when including the announced special dividend of €1.00 per share, trades 16.1% below its 52-week peak.
OTE shares are moving above their 52-week high of €20.48 when accounting for the €0.90 per share dividend distributed for 2025.
Lamda Development stock, at €6.75, is trading 18.4% lower than its 52-week high of €8.00; however, it has not distributed a dividend since its 2019 share capital increase.
EYDAP stock trades 7.66% lower than its peak of €12.92, following a rally of 52% since the beginning of the year. The company did not distribute a dividend payout for FY2025 due to recorded losses.
Allwyn stock moves 45.2% below its year-high of €20.95, inclusive of €1.30 per share in dividends.
Metlen stock records losses of 7% from its 52-week high (€52.50), having distributed €1.00 per share from 2025 earnings.
Athens International Airport stock presents minor losses of 4.9% from its peak of €12.00, following a distribution of €0.6620 per share.
Cenergy distributed €0.26 per share from 2025 profits, and today its stock records losses of 10.87% from its 52-week high of €26.30.
