Baba Vanga’s chilling prophecy on Ukraine and Russia resurfaces as predictions of war, bloodshed, and global upheaval ignite controversy
The decade of the 2020s is described as a critical turning point that will change the world forever

The prophecies of the Bulgarian seer who, according to interpreters of her predictions, foresaw yet another bloody Spring that would nevertheless bring developments, are once again in the spotlight.
The most widely discussed prophecy of Vangeliya Pandeva Gushterova, known as Vanga, concerns the “eighth” president of Ukraine, stating that when he comes, Ukraine will become part of Russia.
Given that Volodymyr Zelensky is the seventh president of Ukraine, many believe that his successor will be the person who seals this development.
Vanga emphasized that peace would be achieved through blood, leading to a union of three Slavic peoples in the post Soviet space.

The decade of the 2020s is described as a critical turning point that will change the world forever.

Vanga predicted a Europe plunged into a serious armed conflict that would redraw the map, while natural disasters, volcanic eruptions, and floods would sweep across entire regions.
At the same time, she foresaw medical breakthroughs, including the cultivation of organs in laboratories, the cure for cancer, and the discovery of an energy source as powerful as the sun.
In the economic sphere, traditional money would be replaced by digital currencies, while the West would sink into chaos and decline, with the “red dragon,” whom many identify with China, dominating.

For Russia, Vanga claimed that it would survive every crisis and become a global power.

She characteristically declared that everything would melt like ice and only the glory of Vladimir and Russia would remain untouched, stressing that no one could stop this course.
The country’s spiritual mission was regarded by the prophetess as an era of rebirth of faith and national consciousness, where Russia, after passing through the flames and being purified, would assume a leading role in the world, not only politically but also spiritually.
The blind woman from a village in Bulgaria, who became a legend while still alive, spoke of the destinies of countries and continents as if reading from an open book.
Her story began on 31 January 1911 in Strumica, when at the age of 12 a powerful tornado lifted her into the air and hurled her hundreds of meters away.
She was found unconscious, her eyes filled with sand, and her family’s poverty condemned her to blindness, which nevertheless opened the door to her “second sight.”
Her gift manifested in 1939 after a severe illness, when she saw a mysterious rider bathed in light.

She found... people

During the Second World War, her fame spread as she helped people locate missing soldiers, describing with precision the circumstances of their deaths. She explained that she saw the deceased relatives of those who visited her, who provided her with answers.
She married Dimitar Gushterov in 1942 and moved to the city of Petrich, where even Tsar Boris III of Bulgaria secretly visited her.
Legends claim that even Hitler visited her, with Vanga warning him not to touch Russia because he would lose, a prediction that was confirmed with the defeat in Moscow.
Artists, politicians, and writers arrived at her door, including Sergey Mikhalkov and Svyatoslav Roerich, while it is said that even Leonid Brezhnev communicated with her through intermediaries.
Her successes inspire awe, as she predicted the victory of the Soviet Union in 1941, the death of Stalin in 1952, the assassination of Indira Gandhi, who wore the fateful orange dress, the sinking of the submarine Kursk, and the dissolution of the Soviet Union.
