BN revelation: Greek bankers prepare a 700 million euro “donation” to Greece as government eyes bank profits

BN revelation: Greek bankers prepare a 700 million euro “donation” to Greece as government eyes bank profits
It should be noted that between 2025 and 2028 the four large Greek banks will achieve profits of 18 billion euros, therefore the 700 million euros correspond to 3.8% of their future profitability as presented in their three year business plans.

Recently BN (bankingnews) had made an important revelation.
We have information from a very strong source, which we repeat for another consecutive day.
The government sees the excess profits of the banks and is looking for ways to put some kind of hand on them.
Specifically, due to the ECB and the SSM (Single Supervisory Mechanism) of the banks, the Greek government cannot impose an extraordinary tax on their profits.
This scenario has been ruled out because their shares would face strong pressure and a smear campaign would begin which the government obviously does not want.
However, the government needs money and they have thought of the scenario that somehow the banks will be persuaded to donate 100 million each year for two years, meaning 200 to 250 million per bank in a two year period, that is 200 or 250 X 4 banks = 800 million euros to 1 billion euros.
This formula is being explored...

Greek bankers see what is coming and prepare a 700 million euro “donation” to Greece

Greek bankers obviously have good information and see what is coming and we are informed that they are preparing to make a major donation of 700 million to Greece.
What kind of “donation” will this 700 million be.
700 million divided by 4 large banks = 175 million for each bank, for one or two financial years, meaning 700 million one time or 700 million X 2 = 1.4 billion euros.
Announcements will follow soon.

The 700 million euros is a minimal donation...
