Stock rally fueled by fake news, Metlen prepares a surprise – Chaos with Kasidiaris - Ukrainophile Bartholomew in Parliament, a disgrace
We still haven't understood the reason why Patriarch Bartholomew, the Ukrainophile who persecutes the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine, spoke about peace in the Greek Parliament.

Today we will focus on political and stock market news to provide a financial and political perspective on current events. Obviously, these events are not connected, but we present them within the same text.

Stock rally fueled by fake news

The stock markets rallied following the alleged deal between Iran and the US; however, in practice, it was proven that no agreement existed, and the news was simply a fabrication to ignite the markets. Trump, the market manipulator, triggered a delirium in stocks and bonds, while brent reached 101 dollars. Nevertheless, a deal between the US and Iran does not exist and will not exist unless the naval blockade is lifted. The agreement between the US and Iran will come when the terms favor Iran, the winner of the war—and Trump knows this, as he plays the markets better than anyone.

Metlen prepares a surprise

Metlen (formerly Mytilineos) is announcing its Q1 2026 results on May 7th without referring to specific financial performances. Specific financial figures will be announced in the half-year and annual results. However, we are informed that Metlen is preparing something that will surprise the market; the worst has passed, and remember that for 2026, the EBITDA will be between 1.15 and 1.2 billion euros. On the stock exchange, it has a valuation of 5.33 billion euros with a share price of 37 euros, an initial target of 38 euros, and a fair value of 42 euros.

Ukrainophile Bartholomew in Parliament

The Patriarch of Constantinople, Bartholomew, spoke in the Parliament, but we still have not understood the reason why the Patriarch—the Ukrainophile Patriarch who persecutes the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine—spoke about peace in the Greek Parliament. It was a completely indifferent speech that no one watched, and many ministers were absent.

Chaos at the presentation of Kasidiaris' book

Ilias Kasidiaris, the political prisoner in Greece—the only politician remaining in prison because he expresses political views—had a few days' leave and presented his new book regarding political and economic scandals in Greece. The public participation was impressive, as thousands of people participated in the presentation of a book, and he has not even officially returned to the political scene yet.
