Trump shreds Iran ceasefire agreement as tactical blunder cedes control of Strait of Hormuz, chaos looms
The Americans are now in a dead end because, according to the Wall Street Journal, they realized that with Article 5 of the Memorandum of Understanding, they essentially "ceded control of Hormuz to the Iranians".

Donald Trump officially announced on 10 July the termination of the ceasefire with Iran, which had been sealed with the "Memorandum of Islamabad", because, as the American president said, Tehran violated the agreed terms, according to the Tass agency.

The Americans are now in a dead end because, according to the Wall Street Journal, they realized that with Article 5 of the Memorandum of Understanding, they essentially "ceded control of Hormuz to the Iranians".

But they realized it too late. and now they are rushing to "break" the ceasefire to restore their strategic blunder.

The most catalytic date for the resumption of hostilities is considered to be 20 July.

We remind you that on Sunday 19 July, the World Cup being held in USA, Canada, and Mexico ends.

Trump bombshell: "There is no ceasefire, it is over..."

At the request of Iran, the United States agreed to continue negotiations to resolve the conflict, but the ceasefire is over, USA President Donald Trump stated.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran asked us to continue 'negotiations'. We agreed to this, but we stated unequivocally that the ceasefire is over", the president wrote on Truth Social.

Bomb revelation: The USA trapped in Article 5 of the Memorandum - "We gave Hormuz to Iran"

At the same time, the Wall Street Journal reports that the poorly drafted Paragraph 5 of the "Memorandum of Islamabad" formulated by the Trump administration itself is turning into a factor that dissolves the USAIran agreement, as it gives Tehran a leading role in managing the Strait of Hormuz, something that is now causing intense concern in Washington and its allies.

The controversial provision, which calls on Iran to "make arrangements" for safe passage and to cooperate with Oman for the future administration of the Strait, has turned into the main field of confrontation between the two sides.

The United States and the Gulf states interpret the clause as an obligation of Iran to ensure free navigation.

Tehran, on the contrary, argues that the wording provides it with the right to have overall control of the management of the Strait.

"Neither side is lying", notes the Wall Street Journal.

"The lie was the claim that there was an agreement in the first place". emphasizes the American publication meaningfully.

Iran and USA conducted behind-the-scenes talks for de-escalation

It is noted that before the latest announcements by Trump, the United States and Iran were currently in behind-the-scenes consultations aimed at reducing tension, following the collapse of the ceasefire and the exchange of military strikes, as CNN reports, citing a USA official.

According to the publication, the strategy of Washington provides for carrying out first strikes and then a temporary pause, in order to avoid further escalation and to give time to diplomats to discuss the events and the next moves.

At the same time, it is pointed out that the American forces remain at the highest level of readiness and could launch new attacks, if deemed necessary, even within tonight.

Iran foretells strong strikes against Israel - "The criminal regime will be punished"

For his part, the secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran stressed that the "criminal Zionist regime" will not remain safe from the response of the Iranian fighters.

According to the foreign policy department of the Tasnim news agency, Mohammad Baqer Zolqadr, secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, responded to the threats of Donald Trump, whom he characterized as the "head of the terrorist government of the United States", writing in his message.

"The most hated personality in the world repeated once again what he deserves toward the great nation and the rebel and mourning people of Iran".

The Iranian official continued, arguing that the American president "is angered by the brilliance of the historical epic of the people of Iran and Iraq during the funeral ceremony of the holy body of the martyred leader".

At the same time, he underlined.

"As we have already announced, the attacks against infrastructure will be met with retaliation, and the criminal Zionist regime, which is behind these actions, will not be exempted from the response of the fighters".

Israel: We are waiting for the green light from Trump to level Iran

Israel would like to participate in the USA strikes against Iran, but expects permission from Donald Trump, according to the Israeli television channel Kan News.

According to the channel, a request to participate in the American strikes has already been sent to Washington and Tel Aviv expects a response, preferably positive.

Israel is cautious about getting involved alone in the conflict with Iran, without the permission of Trump, as it is unclear how long this exchange of strikes between the USA and Iran will last.

Senior Israeli officials would like to receive permission from the American President Trump to resume Israeli strikes against Iran.

Previously, the military and political leadership of the Jewish state had declared its readiness to resume military action against Iran even without the participation of the USA.

However, this will happen only when the Americans withdraw completely from the conflict with Iran.

The situation is currently unclear: a ceasefire seems to be in effect and a memorandum of understanding has been signed, but Trump still cannot disengage the USA from this war.

Russian political analysts appear certain that this time Israel will be unable to participate in the strikes, as these will weaken quickly, especially from the American side.

Trump does not need war, therefore he will proclaim once again a new victory over Iran and everyone will pretend that this is how things happened.

Thus, negotiations will resume once again.
