Bomb ready to explode: Former MI5 agent warns of historic Islamist strike being prepared in Europe
The greatest threat to the United Kingdom and Europe right now is not Russia, but the spread of Iranian influence.

A chilling revelation has come from a former MI6 agent who speaks of a "time bomb" involving Islamist sleeper cells established throughout the United Kingdom. These operatives are reportedly ready to cause destruction on a scale comparable to 9/11 or 7/7—all bolstered by disastrous open-border policies that prioritize radicals over citizen safety. Aimen Dean, who spent eight years infiltrating Al-Qaeda on behalf of MI5 and MI6, knows the enemy better than anyone. As a former member of the terrorist group, he developed relationships with operatives and even served as a "spiritual guide" for terrorists in London, gaining inside access to their operations. His espionage successfully thwarted attacks, such as an attempted bombing of the New York City subway. However, Dean does not hide the reality of the current threat: there are "hundreds" of sleeper agents lurking in the shadows, ready to strike.

The roots of the threat

"Unfortunately, I would like to tell you that the world is an amazing place, but it isn't," Dean told The Sun. "The problem is that the new world order is now the new nightmare world. We have rogue states like Iran that aspire to become nuclear powers. And a threat like Iran must be addressed due to the fact that it is a state that has supported terrorism." Al-Qaeda found sanctuary in Iran for 25 years, Dean revealed, allowing the regime to organize attacks that killed British nationals in Saudi Arabia—with orders coming directly from Tehran. Dean argues that this support from Iran has accelerated the spread of Islamic fundamentalism in the West, undermining trust in institutions while violent extremists wait for their moment. "It’s not a matter of if another 9/11 or 7/7 will happen, but when," Dean warns.

Iran and the agents

Criticizing Europe's obsession with Russia as a distraction from the real danger, Dean stated: "The greatest threat to the United Kingdom and Europe right now is not Russia, but the spread of Iranian influence. We will see many lone wolves acting for the regime. When it comes to sleeper agents in the UK, it is impossible to say exactly how many there are, but there are hundreds." "Islamic fundamentalism is much more dangerous because it undermines from within," Dean explained, adding that "it causes people to distrust institutions and, sometimes, it is far more dangerous than violent extremism. Violence is just the tip of the iceberg."

The danger to the United Kingdom

This grim assessment comes as the leadership of Keir Starmer has made recent moves, such as welcoming Alaa Abd El-Fattah, a British-Egyptian extremist with a history of Holocaust denial and support for Osama bin Laden. The individual has reportedly called for the murder of Zionists and police while stating "I hate white people." Starmer proudly stated on X: "I am glad that Alaa Abd El-Fattah is back in the UK and reunited with his loved ones, who must feel deep relief." This move became a "high priority" for Starmer, ignoring El-Fattah's horrific posts, such as "can we go back to killing Zionists?" and calling for rioters to "hunt down the stupid police officers." Critics, such as Shadow Justice Secretary Robert Jenrick, described this decision as "absolutely shameful," calling for the revocation of citizenship for this "national security risk" who "hates Britain."

Threat from migration policy

Starmer's foreign policy, which allows the influx of radicals, offers a red carpet for extremists, while Dean's intelligence screams that Iranian agents are already present, blending into society thanks to border loopholes. The massive influx of unchecked migrants into the UK under the left-wing government has turned the country into an "arsenal" ready to explode, with fundamentalists undermining society before igniting violence. With mass migration policies increasing under the current administration, this warning could not come at a worse time, as the regime of Keir Starmer celebrates the importation of extremists who express hatred and incite violence, leaving Britons vulnerable to the next phase of jihadist terror.
