A deadly mistake: Former minister Panagiotis Lafazanis slams Greece’s support for Ukraine and warns of ‘insane’ Trump
Lafazanis on BN TV: "I consider it a deadly mistake that we supported Ukraine" – "Mitsotakis is a disaster, Androulakis useless, Alexis Tsipras a political traitor, Zoe Konstantopoulou has a ceiling on her upward trend, and SYRIZA is and will be last!"

To those who speak to us on BankingNews.gr's new online television, BN TV, we ask them to state their opinion without circumvention, clearly and straightforwardly. The former minister and current head of DIKEA, Panagiotis Lafazanis, followed our urging to the letter. Speaking to Angie Stathatou and Sotiris Pikoulas on the show "MAGGA," he revealed exactly what he thinks of the Prime Minister and his political opponents: "Mitsotakis is a disaster, Androulakis useless, Alexis Tsipras a political traitor, Zoe Konstantopoulou has a ceiling on her upward trend, and SYRIZA is and will be last!"

Greece is in danger – Why get involved with the insane Trump?

Referring to the rapid developments in Iran, Mr. Lafazanis emphasized that "we have a world war and we haven't realized it," while he analyzed Donald Trump’s motives behind the operation in Tehran, which are not "the theocratic regime, but oil." He expresses his concern about Greece's possible involvement and a strike on Souda, as he says "Greece and the port of Piraeus are a geopolitical hub and should have stayed out of the conflict of the insane American president."

A deadly mistake that we supported Ukraine

The former minister of the Tsipras government does not limit himself to developments in the Middle East. He also lambasts the country's involvement in the war between Russia and Ukraine: "I consider it a deadly mistake that we supported Ukraine," he points out. He does not hide his admiration for Russian President Vladimir Putin and refers to Russian support for Cyprus in the case of the Annan plan: "If Russia had not vetoed it, Cyprus would now be a Turkish protectorate," Panagiotis Lafazanis states characteristically.

"Ithaca" is a lie to cover up the betrayal

He also continues to argue that the Greek economy will only be saved by a return to the drachma, even now. He also describes events recounted by former Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras in his book, "Ithaca," such as the meeting held with Putin and Medvedev in Moscow in 2015: "Tsipras's book is a lie, to justify the betrayal," he emphasizes.

Samaras is shouting now about national issues – But nothing while he was Prime Minister

He refers to two other former Prime Ministers: Kostas Karamanlis, for whom he says "he was on the right track with the Burgas–Alexandroupoli agreement," and Antonis Samaras regarding his positions on national issues: "Samaras is telling truths now and is supporting what I support. However, I didn't see him shouting while he was Prime Minister."
